# Your own app address, names and profiles

Week ending October 24, 2026.

- **Apps.** Every public app is served at its own address on ample.run, and older addresses redirect to it.
- **Claims.** An app published before anyone signed in shows a "Claim this app" card on its page: enter your email and the 6-digit code to keep it.
- **Names.** After claiming, give the app a readable name such as my-coffee.ample.run. Your apps are listed on your profile at ample.computer/@username.
- **Storage.** `ample bucket upload-url` returns a presigned upload URL for files of any size, and the storage allowance counts what your buckets hold.
- **MCP.** `ample_workspace_create` with `from_app` opens a live app's source to edit and redeploy, and upload links let a person drop a file into a workspace or bucket.
